Stressed about time passing and not capturing all those special moments, but also can't deal with the stress of getting the kids to behave or putting together the right outfits for a session?
Take a deep breath - I promise it will be fun & easy!

My sessions are laid back. Definitely not the stiff, "stay still, scream 'cheese' and smile at the camera" kind of photographer. I use playful prompts that will evoke emotion & capture the realness. I want to freeze the "in between". The moments that you might miss if you blink. I want you to be able to look back at your photos, close your eyes and be able to feel your little ones' tiny fingers on your shoulder. I want to capture the belly laughs after they tackle Dad, the sweet butterfly kisses & the feeling of your newborn sleeping in your arms.

I am a natural light photographer- what does that mean?! We will meet at the beach at the best time of the day! Sunrise or sunset - both are perfect! I love a good golden or blue hour, but can also go for a cloudy moody evening any day of the week!

Let's do it!! Fill out the quick form & we can get started! You can include details like who will be included in the session, where you are looking to have the session take place and any questions you have!! If you are trying to figure out the best location for your session - you can check out my blog post for some ideas!

Step 1

You can let me know around when you are looking do your session & I will send over my availability. The exact timing of the session varies based on where we will be shooting! I usually schedule my beach sessions for around 40 minutes before sunset- this will give you that glowy "golden hour" look! Not sure where to have your session? No problem - let me know and we can chat to figure out the best location!! You will receive an email with a contract & invoice that will allow you to process your deposit & then we are set!

Step 2

Wondering what to wear?! Don't worry! All of my clients get access to my digital styling tool. You can use this style guide to help give you some inspiration for your family's outfits. It will help you visualize and plan ahead, quickly and hassle free! It only takes a few minutes and the results will be sent right to your email. No need to spend hours shopping online or at the mall - you can find stuff right in your closet or mix & match! Outfits are so important - they can change the whole feeling of your photos. We can talk and go over the look you are going for and use that as a starting point. You can also check out my blog for outfit ideas!

Step 3

Yay! I am so excited to hang out with you guys & capture images that you will love- it will be easy & definetly not as stressful as you are imagining, I promise. We will use lots of prompts, follow the kids' lead and get natural photos of your family. If you have little kids, you can expect prompts like "run to mommy and hug her" or "go and squeeze Daddy as hard as you can!" Don't stress if your kids are excited to be at the beach & won't listen to you (that is kind of my expertise and full-time life) - just stay calm, don't stress & just be!

Follow me on Instagram to catch a sneak peek from our session!

You will usually have your full gallery within 3 weeks from our session date! Using Lightroom, all of your images will be lightly edited (this means color correction, exposure etc.) All of your images will reflect my style of editing that you see here! I do not do heavy edits in photoshop like swapping faces or changing backgrounds. etc.

Step 5

You will receive a digital gallery that will allow you to share your session with with family & friends, download full resolution images & even order your prints (framed or unframed) directly from professional printers. Can you just download and print on your own? Of course! I just always recommend that you use a professional printing service, because this will ensure that you have the best quality images.
